to help you reduce the risk and guarantee compliance.
RISK
MANAGEMENT POLICIES
All fleets need policies in place to prove that they have assessed the
risks to company drivers and other road users, and have taken reasonable
steps to reduce them. Total Motion can help you devise and document a
suitable policy for your business, ensuring that it is automatically
updated as legislation or risks change.
VEHICLE MONITORING
To guarantee duty of care compliance, Total Motion’s industry-qualified
field engineers can undertake appraisals on all cars driven for business
purposes, including company-owned, cash for car or private vehicles. The
appraisals can be conducted on a random or scheduled basis, and include
checks on the vehicle’s roadworthiness, service history and documentation,
and the driver’s licence and insurance. Completed appraisal forms are
submitted within 24 hours or Total Motion can deal with urgent issues on
the spot. Costs start from just £7.00 per vehicle.

LICENCE CHECKING
Total Motion is authorised by the DVLA to undertake electronic driver
licence checks on behalf of its clients directly via the DVLA computers.
Checks can be conducted on an annual, frequent or ad hoc basis, providing
clients with accurate details of any offences or disqualifications. The
service costs from around £6.50 per licence.

DRIVER ASSESSMENT
Working with our partners Drive & Survive and a professional team of
instructors, Total Motion offers a structured approach to driver
assessment and training that will save you time and money. On-line and on
the road assessments identify where drivers need additional guidance so
that training can be more effectively targeted.
