PRESS RELEASE July 2006

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is Back on the Road

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is back on the road, thanks to local vehicle management company Total Motion.

Total Motion has presented the Club with a brand new Citroen Relay van to replace the worn out old vehicle it had been forced to rely on for the last few years.

The new van will be used to transport equipment and kit bags around Grace Road and the training ground, as well as for community and promotional events.

“It’s much larger and much smarter than our previous vehicle and we’re very grateful to Total Motion,” says Sophie Walker, general manager of Leicestershire CCC. “As we’re doing more and more internal and external events, it’s important to have transport that is reliable and presents a professional image.”

“As a life-long supporter of Leicestershire Cricket, we were only too pleased to find a way that we could help out,” says Simon Hill, managing director of Leicester-based Total Motion, which provides fleet management services for companies throughout the Midlands.
